The fire, which began at 10:19 PM yesterday, affects an estimated area of around 20 hectares according to the latest provisional estimates.
For its extinction, a total of 13 agents, 13 brigades, 12 fire engines, and 1 bulldozer have been mobilized so far.
The Consellería do Medio Rural reminds citizens that the free telephone number 085 is available to report forest fires. The mobile app ALume can also be used to report active fires.
