The festival, focused on projects developed during academic stages, offers a platform for students to showcase their work on screen and reach the professional world. Anyone currently studying or who graduated in 2025 or 2026 can submit works of any genre or formal modality.
Pieces will be screened in the official Galician, official Spanish, and music video sections. There will also be a non-competitive section for works that do not fit the main categories or are deemed unsuitable for competition due to resource inequality. Prizes in the competitive section are 200 euros per category, plus an Audience Award and jury mentions.
As a novelty, the music video category is added to the competitive section, along with the Mostra Facom, to exhibit works by current and former students of the Faculty of Communication Sciences.
Additionally, the festival collaborates with the Faculty's pitching contest in Galician, organized by the Linguistic Normalization Commission, to promote the use of Galician in the professional audiovisual field. The final gala of this contest will be held on October 29 in the Facom Auditorium at 4:30 PM, hosted by Patricia Santana, with the participation of Irene Lourido, Jesús Silva, and Andrea Villa. The Facom Band will perform at the end. The first prize is valued at 400 euros and the second at 200 euros.
