The event, aimed at driving the future of global health from the Galician community, was attended by the manager of the Galician Health Service, Luis León. The head of the Xunta's health portfolio advocated for addressing health challenges beyond geographical limits, as current challenges require building solutions collaboratively.
Gómez Caamaño highlighted Galicia's commitment to a model connecting health managers, researchers, entrepreneurs, and patients, a collaborative structure where health innovation and inter-agent collaboration are fundamental.
“"Solutions only work when they are shared, validated, and built together by many."
The minister emphasized that alliances formed at such meetings shorten the path from ideas to real application, benefiting citizens. He recalled that this collaborative model allows the Xunta to drive strategic projects like the Galicia Genome Project or the future Galicia Proton Therapy Center.
Finally, he thanked the Galician Health Cluster for organizing a forum that continues to establish itself as a reference health event, bringing together nearly 300 specialists and over 200 companies with the shared goal of responding to present and future health challenges.
