The Galician Health Service (Sergas) has published the provisional resolution of the 2026 open and permanent transfer contest, in which 2,766 professionals were admitted and 588 obtained provisional destinations.

The resolution, published in the Diario Oficial de Galicia, details the definitive list of admitted and excluded individuals, as well as the provisional award of positions for statutory health, management, and services personnel. A total of 312 professionals have secured their first requested destination, representing 53% of the awards granted in this process.
Furthermore, 111 professionals holding a permanent position outside the Galician Public Health System have also been provisionally awarded. Of these, 33 are already provisionally working in Galician healthcare centers under a commission of services.
The nursing category had the highest number of participants, with 1,185 admitted individuals and 165 awardees. This is followed by auxiliary nursing care technicians (479 participants, 82 awardees) and family doctors (225 participants, 71 awardees).
This marks the ninth cycle of the transfer contest, launched in 2017, aiming to facilitate the mobility of permanent staff and work-life balance, with an annual frequency.
The complete lists, provisional scores, and destinations are available on the Sergas website and in the personal electronic file in Fides/expedient-e. Interested parties have ten business days to submit claims against the provisional results.
