The Councilor for Welfare and Equality, Natividad Torres, announced that they are already contacting couples who married in 1976 to invite them to this event. For marriages that took place within the municipality, they have already been located.
Social Services encourages all couples who have resided in Poio for years but married in another municipality to register with Social Services before November 20th to join this celebration.
In the days leading up to the tribute, couples will participate in interview sessions to share their history, memories, anecdotes, descendants, reflections, and future aspirations, which will be recalled during the event.
