The event, aiming to recreate European Christmas markets, will feature twenty stalls per shift and is aimed at artisans, merchants, and non-profit organizations. Applications can be submitted until Thursday, November 12th.
There will be three participation shifts: from December 4th to 13th, from December 14th to 24th, and from December 26th to January 5th. Priority will be given to specific Christmas products, food, gastronomy, crafts, and decoration.
Interested parties must complete the online form available at tui.gal and send three photographs of their product to mercadonadaltui@gmail.com. Selected participants will need to pay a deposit of €150.
The market will be open from Monday to Friday from 5 PM to 9 PM; Saturdays, eve of holidays, and holidays from 12 PM to 2 PM and 5 PM to 9 PM; and Sundays from 11 AM to 2 PM and 5 PM to 9 PM. On December 24th and 31st, hours will be from 11 AM to 2 PM, and on January 5th from 11 AM to 6 PM.
In addition to the market, the Tui Council will organize a Christmas program including a carousel, a tourist train connecting Tui and Valença, special street decorations, and other entertainment activities for all audiences.
These initiatives aim to boost local commerce, attract visitors, and stimulate the local economy, making the Christmas Market a festive meeting point.
