The event, organized by the Sports Department (Concellería de Deportes), took place along the promenade of the lagoon and A Frouxeira beach. The competition broke participation records, doubling the numbers from the last edition. Irene García Nebril and Ariel Soto Meizoso were the winners of the absolute race.
The race featured categories for all ages, from the youngest (babies) to veterans. All participants received a medal. The organization thanked the support of the Local Group of Civil Protection Volunteers and the Local Police in ensuring the event's safety.
The top finishers in the different categories were: Absolute: Irene García Nebril (1st), Sara Romero Galdo (2nd), and Laura Alonso Cortabitarte (3rd); Ariel Soto Meizoso (1st), Martín Otero Villadónica (2nd), and Pablo Pedrosa Paz (3rd). In the youth categories, names such as Jimena Cal Méndez and Adrián Alarcón Pose (Benjamin), Alba Jiménez Vílchez and Dylan Alarcón Pose (Alevín), Maia Pardo Barreto and Iván Gómez Caneiro (Infantil), Irene García Nebril and Martín Otero Villadóniga (Cadete), Sara Romero Galdo and Ariel Soto Meizoso (Juvenil), Lúa Figueroa Lago and Hugo Teijeiro Sevilla (Junior-Promesa), Laura Alonso Cortabitarte and Pablo Pedrosa Paz (Senior), Tamara Fernández García and Borja Pico Feal (Veterans 1), Rocío Barro Casal and Roberto Martínez Castro (Veterans 2), Rebeca Soto Viñas and Javier Tuimil Calvo (Veterans 3), and Miguel Ángel Varela López (Veterans 4) stood out.
