The Cedeira Council is tendering for the repair of three rural roads in the parish of San Fiz de Esteiro and Régoa for approximately €81,500 (VAT included), covering a total of 3.2 kilometers.

The local government secured a €67,378 grant from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development, via the regional agency Agader, to undertake this project, meaning municipal funds will cover only about 17% of the cost.
The roads to be improved are Esteiro (San Fiz de Esteiro), running from Vilela to the regional road AC-566 (800 meters), and Ervellás (1,400 meters) and Pontigas (1 kilometer, with two internal branches) in Régoa.
The works aim to improve the surface and adhesion of the deteriorated roads, which have potholes, to enhance road safety. They include cleaning ditches, installing pipes, and applying a double surface treatment, as well as asphalt mix in some sections.
Interested companies have until November 6 to submit their bids. The execution period is one month.
