As Somozas hosts the 1st Rallysprint with over 80 drivers

The As Somozas Council will host the 1st Rallysprint Concello das Somozas on October 30th and 31st, a competition that will bring together over 80 drivers and is part of the Galician motorsport calendar.

The official presentation of the event took place last Tuesday at the Sociocultural Civic Center, with the participation of the mayor, Juan Alonso Tembrás, and the territorial delegate of the Xunta in Ferrol, Martina Aneiros.
Organized by the Escudería As Somozas, with the collaboration of the Council and the support of the Xunta de Galicia, this edition will be scoring for the 2026 Galician Rallysprint Championship.
This first edition highlights the automotive tradition of Ferrolterra and aims to boost the municipality, attract visitors, and increase visibility for the area.
The organization invites residents and motorsport enthusiasts from all over Galicia to come to As Somozas to enjoy Galician motorsport.
