The event, now a fixture in the municipality's sports calendar, aims to promote healthy living, contact with the natural environment, and community engagement. The circuit arrives in Celeiro de Mariñaos with maximum sporting excitement: after several events throughout the year, the final points at stake will determine the overall standings, where the differences are minimal and the thrill is guaranteed until the last meters.
The day will kick off at 10:30 AM with a popular walk (with options of 8.6 km and 5.6 km), an accessible route of low difficulty designed to enjoy the landscape of the Masma riverbank. Starting at 11:00 AM, it will be the turn of the younger participants, with age-adapted races, reinforcing the family nature of the event. Finally, at 12:00 PM, the absolute race will start over a 5,600-meter course. All activities will have their meeting point, start, and finish at the Escolas de Celeiro de Mariñaos.
Along with medals and trophies for the various categories, the race will receive a special boost thanks to the collaboration of the circuit's sponsor, ASOPORCEL, which will present gifts to the overall male and female winners, as well as to the winning team.
Those wishing to participate in either the race or the walk have until this Thursday, November 5th, to complete their registration through the circuit's official platform at www.maiskmsbarreiros.gal. The Council of Barreiros invites all residents and sports enthusiasts from the entire region to come to Celeiro de Mariñaos to enjoy a festive day of community and pure sport to the sound of the Masma.
