The Xunta will open the new bus terminal of the intermodal station in A Coruña on November 3, which will involve a reorganization of the city's five entry and exit corridors.

The opening of this new infrastructure will mean the transfer of all intercity road transport traffic, which currently registers 137 lines and 180,000 annual services in the city.
The reorganization of entry and exit routes, developed after six technical meetings between the Xunta and the Concello da Coruña between April 2025 and September 2026, will be adapted to the new station's location.
The avenida da Pasaxe corridor, with the highest volume, handles connections to Culleredo, Oleiros, Cambre, and Sada, as well as lines from Betanzos and Ferrol. Lines ending at the intermodal station will maintain their urban entry route, while those continuing to Teatro Colón will directly access the intermodal via avenida de Alfonso Molina.
The avenida de Monelos corridor, with less usage, connects with Cerceda via Culleredo and Cambre. Buses will travel directly along avenida de Alfonso Molina to the station and continue along ronda de Outeiro.
The avenida de Alfonso Molina connects with the main Galician cities and metropolitan services. Lines ending at the intermodal will access via avenidas de San Cristovo and Enrique Salgado Torres to avenida de Arteixo. On exit, they will travel along avenida da Sardiñeira and ronda de Outeiro.
Services continuing to Teatro Colón will maintain their entry route and the Alfonso Molina stop, directly accessing the intermodal on exit via avenida de Alfonso Molina.
The avenida de Arteixo corridor serves routes from Carballo, Costa da Morte, and Arteixo. The proximity of the new terminal will allow direct access, reducing the route.
The avenida de Fisterra corridor also handles services from Arteixo, Carballo, and Costa da Morte. Lines ending at the intermodal will access via ronda de Outeiro and avenida de Arteixo.
For lines on this corridor passing through the center, the route to Juan Flórez will be maintained, accessing the intermodal via avenida de Arteixo.
The new terminal will include an external stop for short-distance services departing from Teatro Colón, allowing for quicker stops without entering the station and reducing travel time by six to eight minutes.
This stop, located on avenida do Ferrocarril, will become operational as determined by the access works to the intermodal, which are managed by the Concello da Coruña. In the meantime, the current stop on Alfonso Molina, near the old bus station, will function provisionally.
