The event, organized by Data Spartan, brought together professionals, companies, and specialists to share experiences on artificial intelligence, robotics, and data science, and their applications across various productive sectors. García emphasized that these technologies represent "an extraordinary opportunity to improve the competitiveness of our companies, boost new business sectors, and, above all, attract and retain talent in our territory."
The deputy advocated for the creation of opportunities for professionals educated in Galician universities and research centers to build their future in the province. She highlighted the role of the Cidade das TIC as a meeting point for companies, research, and talent, and stressed the importance of collaboration between administrations, universities, and the business community to transform knowledge into job-creating projects.
Rosa Ana García also stressed the need for digital transformation to reach small and medium-sized enterprises, entrepreneurs, and smaller municipalities. "We want innovation to be a tool at the service of people and for the opportunities offered by new technologies to reach the entire territory," she stated.
In this regard, she recalled the Provincial Council's work through the Local Employment Plan (PEL), which since 2016 has supported entrepreneurship and job creation in the province's municipalities. "Investing in innovation is investing in employment, opportunities, and the future of our province," she concluded.
